A. All furniture moved will be wrapped in thick quilted furniture blankets We secure them with stretch wrap or tape to eliminate damages and scratches to your furniture. We also use cargo straps on our trucks to tie down and secure certain objects from shifting during transit.

A. We always use 17, 20, 24 and 28 foot trucks. A 17 foot truck can move 1-2 bedrooms in one trip. A 24-foot truck can move a 3-4 bedroom house in one trip.

Q. Do you use any moving equipment?

A. All of our trucks are fully equipped with special blankets, dollies, straps, ramps etc.

Q. When should I call to book my move?

A. The earlier the better. It is best to book 4-6 weeks in advance especially during Summer times which are our busiest times.

Q. Do I have to pack my belongings? Or you will you do it for me?

A. We shall pack your belongings if you do not have the time to do so or want to leave this step of the move up to professionals. A. As soon as you realize there may be a problem with your moving date, you need to contact City Wide Movers to arrange for a new pickup/delivery/trip date.

Q. My beds may need to be taken apart?

A. Our trucks are all equipped with the necessary tools for dismantling and reassembly of furniture if needed.

Q. Can I Move My Plants?

A. City Wide Movers cannot accept responsibility for safely moving your plants because they may suffer from a lack of water and light as well as probable temperature changes while in the van. You may prefer to transport your house plants in the family car.

Q. Can the movers transport my pet?

A. No, there is no safe place in a moving truck for pets. They cannot be transported in the cab for insurance reasons, and the box of the truck is inappropriate due to lack of climate control and the danger posed by potential shifting of heavy objects.
